The estate extends across approximately 2 hectares, offering guests a sense of privacy and immersion in nature that is truly rare. A private yard envelops the property, providing ample space to wander and unwind amid a rich variety of native trees and Mediterranean vegetation. The outdoor spaces of Monterzi are nothing short of spectacular, defined by the extraordinary 360-degree panorama that unfolds from the hilltop on which the house stands. Directly in front of the property, the picturesque village of Montisi comes into view, while turning westward reveals the magical lunar landscape of the Crete Senesi. To the east, the gaze travels across Radicofani and the ever-changing geometry of the Val d'Orcia, all the way to Montalcino beneath the towering silhouette of Mount Amiata. The estate's grounds are laced with pleasant walking paths shaded by a rich variety of native shrubs and tall trees, including maples, holm oaks, chestnuts, old oaks, lindens, and fruit trees such as fig, cherry, pear, and peach. A panoramic portico, furnished with a table and chairs, provides the perfect setting for alfresco dining with sweeping views, while a brickwork barbecue located just a few steps away invites guests to enjoy leisurely outdoor meals in true Tuscan style. Please note that the photographs of the property were taken in spring, so the appearance of flowering plants and garden grass may vary depending on the season of your visit. The non-heated swimming pool is situated approximately 15 metres from the house, on a slightly lower level, and is enclosed by a wooden and net fence with a gate for safety. South-facing and positioned to take full advantage of the panoramic views over the Val d'Orcia, the rectangular pool measures 4 x 8 metres with a constant depth of 1.10 metres. It is lined in PVC and equipped with chlorine purification, with a ladder providing easy access to the water. The surrounding sunbathing area is paved in pink stone, bordered on 2 sides by fragrant lavender bushes, and furnished with sunbeds. A solar-heated outdoor shower completes the pool area. The pool is open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October.

Monterzi accommodates up to 4 guests across 2 well-appointed bedrooms and 1 bathroom, distributed over 2 floors that are connected both by an internal staircase and an external one. Thanks to the sloping terrain on which the house is built, both floors benefit from direct access to the outdoors. The main entrance is located beneath the portico and is reached by climbing a few steps, leading into a welcoming living room with a dedicated dining area. On this floor, guests will find a double bedroom and a twin bedroom with joinable beds, the latter featuring a French window that opens directly to the outside. The single bathroom on this floor is equipped with a shower. A short flight of stairs descends to the lower floor, where the kitchen and laundry area are located. The kitchen also enjoys direct outdoor access through a French window, creating a seamless connection between the interior and the surrounding landscape.

The three units have independent entrances and in the garden their own area equipped with a table, chairs, sun umbrella and barbecue, perfect for enjoying your meals in the open air.
You will find the farmhouse immersed in the Valdichiana countryside and, at the same time, close to the village of Castiglion Fiorentino, which can be easily reached on foot with a walk of about 1.5 km. From the railway station in Castiglion Fiorentino it will be easy to travel by train for day trips to Florence, Rome and other interesting cities in central Italy.
We advise you to immerse yourself in the life of the small village, its shops, bars and restaurants; you will get a glimpse of country life that still harks back to ancient traditions and customs.
The stone walls, wooden and brick ceilings and simple but comfortable furnishings give the apartments a special charm. You will immediately feel at home, welcomed by a warm atmosphere and by Mrs Rita, the owner, who is always ready to assist her guests in times of need.
Together with the owner, you will be able to make use of the large outdoor area, a cool, large 6 x 12 m swimming pool (depth 0.90-1.40 m - open from 01 May to 30 September) located in front of the house, the badminton court, table tennis and bowling green.

Galleria di Brolio is an old stone farmhouse whose origins date back to 1800, located between two of the most important towns of the Valdichiana, Castiglion Fiorentino and Foiano, and which is now part of the owners' farm. You will find the farmhouse just a few kilometres from the two towns and in both, as well as various monuments and sites of artistic interest that are definitely worth a visit, you will have shops, restaurants and all kinds of services. The small historic centres of the villages will be a pleasant destination for your aperitifs or dinners at the restaurant.
The farmhouse takes its name from the Galleria di Brolio, a conduit that is still in operation today and is located on the edge of the olive grove. The conduit is part of the canal built between 1932 and 1940 to improve the flow of water towards the Arno, planned by the engineer Vittorio Fossombroni for the reclamation of the valley at the end of the 18th century.
Galleria di Brolio is situated on the edge of a wood of about 20 hectares of oaks and pines used as a hunting reserve for the repopulation of animals; they live here in the utmost freedom and if you love wildlife you will frequently see hares and pheasants running in the olive grove, the vineyard and even in the house lawn.
On the ground floor there is the apartment where the owners live, as well as a cellar and a shed for the farm's agricultural tools, while the first floor is reserved for you. The furnishings are very nice and comfortable, enriched with local antiques, and blend in perfectly with the old features of the house. Not far away, on the other side of the wood, passes the railway line that connects central Italy with the main cities of the peninsula (Florence, Bologna, Rome, Milan), so it will be easy to move around even without a car.
A few metres from the house, surrounded by silver olive trees, you will find a beautiful swimming pool completely fenced and for your exclusive use (size 11x5 m, depth 1.10-1.40 m - open from 01st May to 30th September), together with a gazebo equipped with garden furniture, which will allow you to shelter from the hot summer sun.
There is also a large pergola supplied with wrought iron furniture for eating outside, equipped with a barbecue and a wood-burning oven, for those evenings when you want to enjoy a pizza or a grill “al fresco”.
The owner, on request, will prepare excellent typical Tuscan dinners and pizzas in the wood-fired oven which, we are told by customers who have stayed at the house, are truly delicious.

The 8 bedroom Villa Sant’Angelo is immersed in the enchanting Tuscany hills. It’s an old country manor which once belonged to the noble family of Conti Ghezzi who loved to spend their holidays here.
Recently restored it has managed to maintain its original charm thanks to the rare finishings: antique wooden beams, terracotta tiles, stone fireplaces in the large rooms, choice of colours and the very large illuminated environment.
The furniture has been carefully chosen, both functional and comfortable, but distinguishable with the elegant Tuscany classical style furniture which can be found in most homes today.

Poppi with all kind of shops at 3 km, Soci at 3 km, Bibbiena at 5 km.
At guests disposal:
The villa is completely enclosed by a fence and has an independent entrance and enjoys complete privacy. A large garden surrounds the house and here there is a private swimming pool (16m x 8m depth 1.5 mt).
From here, following a footpath, you can reach a lake, tennis court, and also other trekking footpaths within the densely thick woods.
Our guests are free to explore the farm and have free access to the large biological vegetable garden which has been cultivated using old traditional methods.
