The large garden is shaded by centuries-old pines and cedars of Lebanon and bursts with colourful seasonal flowers, fragrant lemon trees typical of the Tuscan landscape, and a dedicated herb corner from which you can gather fresh ingredients to prepare the classic dishes of Tuscan cuisine. Numerous shaded areas are scattered throughout the park, inviting you to relax in peaceful seclusion. On the panoramic terrace, a large outdoor dining table provides the perfect setting for al fresco meals, while the area between the villa and the swimming pool features a comfortable arrangement of sofas and armchairs beneath the shade of a gazebo. Please note that the property photographs were taken in spring, and the appearance of the gardens, including the flowering plants and lawn colours, may vary depending on the season of your arrival. The non-heated rectangular swimming pool, measuring 7x14 m with a depth of 1.40 m and lined in sky-blue PVC, is located on one side of the villa approximately 30 m away, accessed across the lawn. A generously sized sunbathing area surrounds the pool, equipped with umbrellas, comfortable sunbeds, small tables, and a sofa with armchairs. Entry to the water is via Roman steps, and a hot-water shower and perimeter lighting are also provided. The pool is open from the last Saturday of April until the first Saturday of October. Located 50 metres from the property and reserved exclusively for guests' use are 2 synthetic tennis courts, one of which can be converted into a five-a-side football pitch. On the first floor, a magnificent period staircase in pietra serena leads into a spacious living area that encompasses a dining area, a television corner, a sitting area with an ornamental fireplace, and a relaxation area that opens directly onto the veranda, where outdoor dining tables are set for memorable meals. This floor also features a fully equipped kitchen, a laundry room, a dedicated room with an ornamental fireplace ideal for board games, 1 double bedroom, and a guest bathroom. The second floor is devoted entirely to the sleeping quarters and comprises 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms: 2 twin bedrooms, one with an ensuite bathroom and one with an adjacent bathroom, 3 double bedrooms each with an ensuite bathroom, and 1 double bedroom with an adjacent bathroom. Air conditioning is available in all bedrooms on the second floor. A further staircase ascends to the 2 turrets, which are connected by a panoramic terrace running along the entire rooftop, offering sweeping views over the Tuscan countryside.

The property operates a Zer0Dep Guarantee, meaning you are not required to pay a security deposit either on balance or upon arrival. This guarantee includes EuropAssistance coverage in the event of accidental damage to the property during your stay, up to a maximum of 1,500.00 euros and subject to the limitations provided. Acceptance of animals at the property must be previously authorised by the owner, and guests are required to communicate the number, size, and breed of their animals in advance of arrival.

You will find La Casina del Bosco in an extremely panoramic position, nestled among silver olive trees in the beautiful, green Alpe di Catenaia. The little house is located not far from the mountain pass that joins the two valleys of Casentino and Valtiberina and will allow you easy day trips in both valleys, in search of monasteries and castles and small, ancient villages carved in stone and unknown to most people. The splendid view that you will see every morning from your windows overlooks the surrounding luxuriant woods, thickets of ancient chestnut and oak trees, where wildlife still reigns supreme. All this makes the place extremely peaceful and almost enchanted.
The house is reached by a small unpaved road (approx. 2 km), which we do not recommend taking with sports cars. About 8 km away is Subbiano, an industrious village with supermarkets, restaurants and shops of all kinds, whose origins can be traced back to Roman times. In the small village of Falciano, just 3 km away, there is a typical Tuscan restaurant where you can enjoy pasta, meat and traditional dishes that we are sure you will not easily forget.
18 km away is the ancient city of Arezzo, to which we recommend you dedicate at least one day, strolling through its paved alleys and beautiful squares.
The little house that you will rent is the result of a recent restoration, built with ancient local stone but above all a depository of very distant origins, it was in fact once used by shepherds who stopped there during the transhumance.
For your days of complete relaxation, there is a panoramic swimming pool surrounded by olive trees ( size m. 6 x 2.70, depth m. 1.30 - open from 01st May to 30th September), a hydro-massage tub (5 seats, size m. 2.20 x 2.20 - available with extra charge), a pergola furnished with table and chairs to enjoy your meals in the open air, a barbecue and a fully equipped garden. The outdoor area (approx. 1200 sqm) is fully fenced and your small four-legged friends are very welcome. You will find the house decorated with antique furniture that perfectly matches its features, giving it a cosy and warm atmosphere.

Casa Rossa is a suggestive farmhouse of very remote origins. It stands in a very panoramic and peaceful position, overlooking vineyards and olive groves. It can be reached by following an unpaved road (1,5 km) that winds its way through rows of vineyards, and even before you get there you will feel you have been catapulted into another era. The origins of this house are in fact very old and date back at least to 1500, as documented in the register of souls of the parish of Pieve San Giovanni.
The owners, Leone and Giuseppe, have intentionally maintained its rustic, almost medieval appearance in order to preserve its noble origins. The wooden and brick ceilings, the original terracotta floors and the simple and essential furnishings are a rare example of the rural tradition in Tuscany. The farmhouse is particularly suitable for couples or families who love nature and simplicity and want to get away from modern life for a while.
Pets are welcome (extra charge could be required).
You will find yourself facing an incomparable view on summer evenings, sitting by the pool (size 5 x 9 m, depth 1.20 m, private for guests - open from 16 May to 12 September) or dining in the furnished pergola in front of the house. And if you feel like leaving the quiet of the place for a while, the city of Arezzo is reachable in 15 minutes by car, and throughout the year it offers countless folkloristic and cultural events, including the Giostra del Saracino and the Antique Fair.

The villa has been furnished by the owners with taste, exclusive care and attention to details. The décor recalls what, according to documents of the time, appears to be the birthplace of one of the most important figures to whom Casentino gave birth: Cardinal Dovizi, a member of the Medici family, also known as 'Bibbiena'.
