The 1-hectare estate, which is fenced but without a gate, unfolds across gently sloping terraces descending from the house toward the swimming pool below, creating a landscape of extraordinary beauty and tranquillity. The grounds are home to a well-tended garden featuring a rich variety of flowering plants, lavender bushes, potted flowers, an olive grove, tall trees, and neatly trimmed hedges that frame the lawn areas surrounding the house. Accessible directly through the French windows of the kitchen, the outdoor dining area is positioned beneath a pergola with a bamboo canopy and is furnished with a travertine table and chairs, alongside a portable barbecue, making it an ideal setting for alfresco meals in the shade. Please note that the property photographs were taken in spring, so the appearance of the garden, including the flowering plants and the colour of the grass, may differ at the time of your arrival.
The non-heated swimming pool is located approximately 50 metres from the house on a lower terrace, reached by descending 47 stone steps. Rectangular in shape and measuring 10 x 5 metres, the pool has a depth ranging from 1.20 to 2.50 metres and is lined in PVC with a white travertine edge. It is equipped with chlorine purification, internal lights, and a metal ladder for water access. The stone-paved pool area is furnished with sunbeds and umbrellas, and a romantic pergola draped with jasmine and vines provides natural shade during the hottest hours of the day, along with a table and chairs for relaxed outdoor enjoyment. The swimming pool is open from the last Saturday in April until the first Saturday of October.

Casetta i Ciliegi can be reached via a scenic mountain road that is partly unpaved (about 4 km), not recommended for sports cars. Especially the first time it may be a little difficult, but once you get there you will understand that it is worth making a little effort to admire such a beautiful view. Until a few years ago the house was the heart of a large farm, then a recent and careful renovation, which the owners carried out with love and care to keep the old features of the villa unaltered, transformed it into a cosy holiday home.
Still next to the house you will find the wine cellar where the owner produces excellent wine (Vino DOC Cortona), which you can taste for free during your holiday.
All around the house you will have at your disposal a large green area equipped with gazebo, table and chairs for your outdoor dinners in company, barbecue, games for children and shaded parking spaces. San Eusebio is an independent portion of a beautiful stone farmhouse with ancient peasant origins. You will find it nestled in an extremely panoramic position on the silver olive-covered hill of S. Pietro a Cegliolo, not far from the beautiful town of Cortona.
You will instantly fall in love with Cortona.
