The fenced park surrounding the villa unfolds across multiple connected terraced levels, linked by paved paths and elegant stone stairways that wind through manicured lawn areas and lead to a botanical garden planted with flowering borders, lavender, rosemary, oleanders, hydrangeas, and climbing roses. The entrance to the property is framed by ivy and wisteria, lending a romantic and timeless character to the arrival experience. Around the villa, several outdoor dining and relaxation areas invite guests to gather and unwind, including a large dining table with umbrella, a barbecue, a table tennis table, and comfortable sitting areas on the rear terrace. The non-heated pool is situated on a lower terrace approximately 30 metres from the villa and is accessible via 2 separate flights of stairs. Rectangular in shape, it measures 17 x 5 metres with a depth of 1.5 metres at the centre and 2.5 metres at the ends. The pool is finished in mosaic, features a Roman staircase with handrail for safe entry, salt-based purification, internal lighting, and a night cover. The surrounding solarium is paved in terracotta and bordered by flowerbeds filled with geraniums, oleanders, and blue plumbago, and is equipped with sun loungers, umbrellas, a cold water shower, and a dedicated relaxation area. The pool is open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October. Pets are welcome at Scandelaia, with an additional cleaning charge applicable per pet per week. Children under the age of 14 are exempt from the local tourist tax. The Zer0Dep Guarantee is applied to this property, meaning guests are not required to pay a security deposit either on balance or upon arrival.
