The house is located on the slopes of Pratomagno, which stands out from the Arno valley and descends with wide natural terraces full of olive trees, until the road of the “Setteponti”, connecting the cities of Arezzo and Florence. The village of San Giustino Valdarno with restaurants, bars and shops is about 1 km away.
Maximum relax in the beautiful private swimming pool (mt. 10x4,5, depth mt. 1,40, completely fenced - open from 01st May to 30th September ) with solarium equipped with deckchairs, tables and sun umbrellas and in the gazebo overlooking the valley below. Where to spend relaxing days to read, eat outside or just to enjoy the landscape that is lost at a glance. Families will not fail to appreciate the children's play area and the tennis table; the little house with barbecue, wood oven and sink is ideal if you enjoy cooking and eating outdoors.
The owners Albina and Danilo, very attentive to the environment, have equipped the villa with photovoltaic panels for the production of electricity.

This beautiful farmhouse is located in a very quiet and secluded position on the Castello di Volpaia estate, where we have successfully been renting two other properties, La Pozza and Il Casetto for many years. Guests can enjoy incredible views from the covered terrace, which is furnished for outdoor eating and is also very practical for families as it overlooks the pool, allowing parents to relax while keeping an eye on the pool area. The fortified hamlet of Volpaia offers two nice restaurants, one of which owned by the estate. The English speaking estate staff can organize cooking lessons, visits to the wine cellars and will be glad to assist guests during their stay.

Podere Giardino comprises a main house and 2 annexes, all finished with original wooden beamed ceilings and exposed stone walls that reflect the authentic Tuscan countryside aesthetic. Guests benefit from a private covered parking area located just a few meters from the buildings, a generous yard spread across 2 levels of hilly terrain, and high-speed Internet WiFi connectivity throughout the estate, ensuring both comfort and convenience during your stay.
Outdoors
The grounds of Podere Giardino are a destination in their own right, extending across 2 hectares of carefully tended hilly land arranged on 2 distinct levels. The lower terrace is home to the main swimming pool, a rectangular structure measuring 20 x 8 meters, with a depth ranging from 1.10 to 2.5 meters. The pool is covered in PVC with internal lighting, features chlorine purification, a submerged ladder, counter-current swimming, and manually operated geysers, and is heated by solar panels. It is accessible via a 30-meter path and is open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October. The surrounding solarium is paved with travertine and wood and furnished with sun loungers, umbrellas, and a shaded gazebo. Adjacent to the main pool is a second circular children's pool, covered in mosaic, with shallow water, hydromassage, and a shower with both hot and cold water. The entire pool area is fenced for safety and privacy. Beyond the pools, the estate offers an impressive range of outdoor sporting and recreational facilities. A private fenced tennis court, covered in synthetic grass and equipped with lighting, covers approximately 400 sqm and is situated around 60 meters from the main house, adjacent to the parking area. 4 rackets are available for guest use. A new padel court with a synthetic surface and lighting is located next to the tennis court and is also available to guests, complete with rackets and balls. Additional outdoor amenities include a beach volleyball court, a five-a-side football pitch, a children's play area, and a ping pong table. 2 pergolas with dining areas, a large built-in oven with Carrara marble worktops, and a spacious covered barbecue area provide ideal settings for al fresco meals and gatherings. The basement level houses a wellness area with a hot tub, sauna, massage room, and showers, as well as a laundry room. Annex 1 is situated on the ground floor and comprises an open-plan space with a double bedroom, a kitchenette, and a bathroom with shower. Annex 2 contains 2 separate apartments. Apartment 1 is on the ground floor and includes a living room with fireplace, a kitchenette, a double bedroom, and a bathroom with shower. Apartment 2 also begins on the ground floor with a living room with fireplace and a kitchenette with dining area, while the first floor accommodates a double bedroom, 2 additional single beds, and a bathroom with shower. Air conditioning is available in all bedrooms and living rooms throughout the property.

Guests are kindly reminded that photo shoots of the property are typically carried out in spring, meaning that the colors and blooms of the gardens, lawns, and surrounding parkland may appear different upon arrival depending on the season. The covered parking area is located 700 meters from the entrance gate and just a few meters from the buildings. Pets are welcome at the property. The weekly rental rate includes utilities such as electricity, water, and gas for kitchen use, as well as weekly linen service and initial and final cleaning. The rate also includes the Zer0Dep Guarantee, meaning you do not pay a security deposit either on balance or upon arrival, and you benefit from EuropAssistance coverage in the event of accidental damage caused to the property during your stay, up to a maximum of 1,500.00€ and subject to the restrictions provided.

The pool terrace is equipped with sunbeds, chairs, tables, a gazebo, and a cold-water shower. The pool is open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October.
