Lucignano and the Tuscan countryside. It is surrounded by fields of corn and sunflowers, brambles and (mulberry trees) used from the beginning of the 1900's for the breeding of silk worms. Just over 2 km away is the old medieval town of Lucignano, with local shops and amenities, worthy of a visit as it still conserves its original town plan , made up of concentric streets, and is unique in Italy.
Garden and swimming pool. In the large garden in front of the house, shaded by pine, cypress and cedar trees, always beautifully tended and equipped with garden furniture, barbecue and children games, there is a beautiful, fenced swimming pool (6 x 11 m, depth 1,00-2,00 m) which will be for the exclusive use of the guests. The owner, who lives in the other part of the villa with his family, will be a discreet presence able to help or to give any information when needed. The house has been furnished with period furniture and guarantees a high level of comfort.

Es war ein wundervoller Urlaub in diesem idyllischen Landhaus. Ein idealer Ausgangsort für Touren und ruhiger Rückzugsort zum Entspannen am Pool und im Garten. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

sehr schönes Anwesen in guter Lage, gepflegter Garten und wunderschöner Pool, der nur von den Gästen genutzt wird, sehr freundliche und zurückhaltende Gastgeber (Verständigung in Englisch möglich), im Haus viel Platz, teilweise wäre etwas Pflege nötig; Böden, Bäder und Wäsche sauber und gepflegt, Betten (Matratzen) leider umkomfortabel, kein TV vorhanden

The villa is in an excellent location close to Lucignano. Day trips to the beautiful Tuscan countryside and its towns is very easy and pleasant. The villa hosts were cooperative and helpful. The quality of linen, bedding and kitchen utensils was of average quality. The beds were ok but no more than that. The pool area is a highlight. Beautiful spot, clean pool and nice furniture. Despite the limitations described we had a wonderful time and would recommend a stay here.

This is the 6th summer we had rented a house in Toscana and we had a great time. Lucignano is a lovely village with such nice restaurants and home-made dishes. The villa's owners were very friendly and helpful. The kids had a wonderful time exploring the garden and the animals. The price is also very convenient. Maybe next year we come back.

We considered ourselves lucky to have found this wonderful house close to the village of Lucignano! The location is excellent for days trips (Cortona, Siena, Montepulciano), but a peaceful oasis if you feel like going nowhere. The kitchen is not fancy, but had all the right tools for preparing meals with fresh local food. The bedrooms were all comfortable, and the bathrooms were spotless. The owners were lovely: friendly and helpful when we needed them, but unobtrusive. The pool area was beautifully kept with an outdoor dining area and lounges/umbrellas. Our only regret was that our stay was not longer than one week!

Belle maison toscane, superbe piscine. Accueil très agréable et beaucoup de place pour les locataires. Seul bémol : le bruit de la route qui passe à proximité. Il faut juste s’y habituer. En tout cas, la maison est bien située au milieu de la campagne toscane. Très pratique pour visiter la région.
