Our Villa Spotlight is turning once again to the fair city of Montepulciano, well known for its Vino Nobile di Montepulciano. We are looking at the Via Della Stella (Montepulciano 850) (no longer available), a gorgeous three unit farmhouse lies about 15km from the town center of Montepulciano. The smaller brick cottage dates back to the 18th century, while the farmhouse was built in the early 20th century. Both buildings have been renovated and meet modern expectations. To give this villa the proper treatment in our Spotlight, we will be running a three part series. La Puzzola is a smaller villa located in the small village of Solata. The town of Bucine is close as well, and Arezzo is only 35 kilometers away.

This is the perfect villa for a couple or small family looking for a peaceful and relaxing holiday away from the noise of the city. La Puzzola is a completely independent villa that sets about 4 kilometer off the road and as such offers a great deal of privacy.

Today in our Villa Spotlight we turn to that gem 'under the Tuscan sun', Cortona! This lovely Tuscan hill town is a great choice for any traveler as it has more than enough to keep you busy and works great as a staging point for day trips through Tuscany and Umbria.

One favorite of the area is Lake Trasimeno, a huge and gorgeous lake dotted with interesting little towns and ruins.

Today in our Villa Spotlight article here at Tuscany Villas we will be taking a look Il Pratino Di Solata, located in the province of Arezzo and laying in between Arezzo and Siena.

This quaint country house is definitely off the beaten path, you won't find large highways leading to this property. But for those who want privacy and to escape the tourist traps, this property is perfect. The gorgeous views of the hills of Chianti and the beautiful Arno valley that this villa affords can not be found in a city apartment or something closer to town.

Over the past few days we have taken a closer look at the Fattoria Della Nave in our Villa Spotlight. We have discussed the Parco Della Nave, the magnificent forest preserve on the property for the use of the guests.

Yesterday we saw the interiors of two of the buildings on the property, a total of five separate units of this large and luxurious multi-unit villa. Today we will be looking into the Valcellino part of the property, with its own five units: Luigi, Irene, Francesca, Maria Chiara, and the Anna Maria apartments.
