Villa Gioiosa is an old stone house that once belonged to the nearby Benedictine monastery and was used by the monks as a chestnut dryer, of which the surrounding woods are rich. Today the house has been completely restored, maintaining the characteristics of the old Tuscan farmhouse, both in the architectural features and in the furnishings, enriched with local antiques.

The Agriturismo Bevignano, at the centre of a thriving farm with 70 hectares of woodland and 1,200 silver olive trees, has ancient origins. They date back to 1600 when there was a monastery here, and you can still admire an ancient little church inside the property. This ancient village, located on the border between the provinces of Arezzo and Siena, nestled in the wooded hills north of Monte San Savino, still retains its architectural features that make it a place full of charm and history. You will feel as if catapulted into another century, in contact with nature and the simplicity of country life.

The property is divided into two stone buildings, which in turn are divided into four independent apartments. In the cool pergola, in front of the kitchen, equipped with wooden furniture and barbecue, you can relax and dine al fresco. From the windows of the villa you can admire the imposing Castello di Civitella with its characteristic 'Torre Spaccata'. We absolutely recommend a visit to this small village, a real jewel of the Valdichiana, with its ancient cistern, panoramic square and medieval buildings.
